On February 20-21, 2024, TRC4 hosted the first annual UT System Trauma Research Symposium in Austin. This event brought together experts, researchers, practitioners, and advocates from across the UT System and the Department of Defense to delve into the multifaceted dimensions of trauma and its impact on individuals and communities.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS:

TRC4 is accepting submissions for abstracts until FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. for the upcoming 2025 UT System Trauma Symposium.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: November 22, 2024

The 2nd Annual UT System Trauma Research Symposium will take place on February 10-11, 2025. The symposium brings together experts, researchers, and practitioners from across the UT System and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to facilitate the exchange of new ideas and to build new professional partnerships. Registration information will be forthcoming.

The McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston is hosting their annual Geriatric Trauma Symposium. This symposium works to raise awareness of the dangers of Geriatric Trauma, and collaborate with our network of medical professionals to improve care and preventative measures for the elderly. This event will be held on November 15th, from 8:00am to 5:30pm. Breakfast and lunch will be included as a part of your registration.
