We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of various projects. This position involves assisting with marketing efforts for the program, including reviewing and updating website content, managing social media platforms, and ensuring marketing materials are up-to-date. You will be responsible for collecting, researching, and organizing data independently to support project decisions and strategies.
In this role, you will serve as a liaison between different institutions and stakeholders, managing expectations and advising on project progress, challenges, and risks. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project plans and timelines, ensuring adherence to established guidelines, and tracking project progress. Additionally, you will help prepare and deliver project events, meetings, and documentation, ensuring that all materials are prepared and delivered efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with marketing efforts for the program.
- Reviews and updates of website, social media platforms, and annual handouts/marketing materials.
- Ability to work independently to collect, research and organize data.
- Ensures effective preparation and delivery of all project events, meetings and production of all necessary documentation.
- Serves as the project liaison between the various institutions and stakeholders.
- Manages project expectations with stakeholders, sponsors and others as appropriate; advises on project progress, potential issues, obstacles, risk, conflicts or challenges.
- Creates project plans and timelines to ensure adherence to established guidelines and ensures projects are administered according to protocol.
- Tracks progress, identifies and resolves obstacles.
- Provides status updates on the progress of the project.
- Ensures effective preparation and delivery of all project events, meetings and production of all necessary documentation.
- Serves as the project liaison between the various departments and stakeholders.
- Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- General business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process.
- Solid organizational skills, including coordination, multi-tasking and time management.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of common Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong focus on quality assurance with attention to detail and ability to apply protocols.
- Ability to work independently to collect, research and organize data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Team-management and leadership skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Will accept experience in lieu of education.
Experience
- Three (3) years of marketing and/or project coordination experience is required.
- Five (5) years of experience required with an Associate’s degree.
- Seven (7) years of experience required with a High School diploma or GED.
